I updated to WordPress 4.5. I then tried to install a new theme, Sonder, but it broke the blog. Luckily I found a WordPress suggestion simply to delete the directory, Sonder/ from my blog/Themes/ folder. This worked.
For a class assignment I’m supposed to experiment with different themes.
The current theme is twentysixteen.
I’m not quite sure how this installation became effective, but it seems to be working now.
I wasn’t getting permission to access the blog, but a speedy and efficient reply to a Support Ticket I submitted to FatCow, my website host, fixed the problem.
